Temple of Seven Maidens |

 When
we enter through the southern gateway, we can see
the temple of Seven Maidens. This temple is buildup
of bricks. These are in dilapidated, condition.
Historians say that people worshipped Seven Maiden
Goddesses in this temple and Gingee got its name
from the eldest Maiden named Gingee Amman.

temple of Lord Shiva is situated here. In the
temple, there is a Shiva Lingam in the sanctum
sanctorum. In addition to this, there is a Goddess
